Today's Forecast: A chance of snow showers before 7am, then a chance of rain and snow showers between 7am and 3pm. Partly sunny. High near 37, with temperatures falling to around 30 in the afternoon. West wind 8 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

* WHAT...Wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 6
inches. Locally higher amounts are possible above 1500 ft.
* WHERE...Essex County, New York, and much of eastern Vermont.
* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST today.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions will likely impact the morning commute. Isolated
power outages are possible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Higher elevation and untreated roads could
be snow covered and slick.
