Phoebe Tucker chosen as Democratic candidate for State Rep position

LUDLOW, VT— Phoebe Tucker of Ludlow, VT has won the Democratic primary for the state representative position for the Rutland-Windsor (RUT-WDR) district.

The RUT-WDR district representative serves the towns of Ludlow, Mount Holly, and Shrewsbury. Voters can elect one candidate to send to the statehouse for the upcoming legislative session.

Phoebe believes every Vermonter's voice deserves to be heard, no matter the party a citizen identifies with. She recognizes it is time to move beyond bipartisan distraction and focus on what truly matters: building thriving communities where everyone feels welcome, represented, and able to participate in the decision making that affects daily life. As representative, Phoebe will advocate for accessible healthcare for all Vermonters, affordable housing, high-quality public education, and land stewardship that works for generations to come, all while centering focus on empathy, collaboration, and collective engagement.

"I am truly honored to receive this nomination, and look forward to the opportunity to serve our three towns. Thank you so much for your ongoing support!" -Phoebe Tucker
