Happy Friday from the Farm!Another week in the books and another weekend headed your way! And oh, the weather! Cool mornings, crisp air, and sunshine all day long. It’s one of our favorite seasons here on the farm. How about you? Busy Days on the FarmDaily chores keep us busy ... feeding and tending to the laying hens, the turkeys, the pigs, the calves, and the cows. The cows continue to graze the pastures around the farm, and get moved regularly to fresh grass. And the big task this week, every wrapped round bale has been hauled in from the fields and stacked at the farm. Winter feed is ready! Holiday Turkeys Are Calling!Speaking of turkeys, we have available for your holiday table! This year, they’ll be frozen. Pasture raised right here on our farm (you may have seen them out strutting as you drive by!). They always sell out early, so give us a shout and get on the turkey list sooner rather than later. - Farm fresh eggs, always at the ready
- Veggies: onions, garlic, potatoes, greens, carrots, and beets

Pierce's Store is hosting Watson Wheeler and his cider press this Saturday from 2-6pm. He will be introducing his new cider made entirely from Shrewsbury apples as well as revealing its name. He will also be selling pours out on the lawn. Come out to try the cider and bring your apples to press and contribute to next year's cider. The weather is predicted to be sunny - a perfect late Fall day to be outside with your neighbors. All are welcome- must be 21 for "hard" cider consumption. |

The Shrewsbury Singers present "Singing on a Sunday Afternoon", an informal concert of acapella singing on Sunday, October 25, 2026, 3:00PM at the Russellville Schoolhouse (18 Crown Point Rd.) in Shrewsbury. Please join us in harmony as we share songs from various world traditions that we love to sing. All ages are welcome to attend!
We will be collecting non-perishable food donations for the Shrewsbury Food Shelf. Concert admission is a "Free Willing Offering" to benefit the Shrewsbury Singers.
As a reminder, please park on one side of the road only, so larger vehicles can pass by.
