Mount Holly Newsflash - Monday, July 11, 2022  The weather today in Mount Holly -Sunny, with a high near 79. South wind 1 to 12 mph. Archived Newsflash emails can be read at: https://mthollynewsflash.blogspot.com The Town of Mount Holly is conducting weekly water testing of the Star Lake swimming area water.  Sampling this week shows high levels of E. coli and we have posted (on 7/7/22) do not swim signs until further notice.  We will be retesting next week. Hello.  Our little cat Sophie went missing on Friday evening.  She's a very small calico, no collar, very skittish.  We know the odds are slim that we will find her, but if you see her, or by some miracle have taken her in, please give us a call:  Karen (802) 259-6045.  GARAGE SALE      82 Belmont Rd.  Mt. Two friendly dogs appeared in our yard this morning, acted like they owned the place and then headed down the road….a gorgeous, brown one with two collars, no tags, and definitely the leader.  The other sweet one black and white, kinda shaggy, a collar, no tags, overweight and the follower.  I wish I had thought to take a picture!
