Our farm stand has been busy and we love seeing all of you shoppers! Thank you for taking time out of your schedules to shop with us. We've restocked our cheese and have a great selection from our friends at Crowley Cheese as well as Maplebrook. What's your favorite?! Our pantry shelves are filled with delicious jams, mustards, honey, garlic infused honey, coffee beans, vinegars and hot sauce! And our hand made soaps, dishcloths, shadow boxes or canvas prints will make a nice gift for that special someone (even if that someone is you!). Check out our meat board while you're here. We've got a nice selection of beef and pork cuts as well as whole chickens. We don't want you to go hungry! There is still time to join our CSA! Southeast wind 3 to 9 mph. | | | | | Lauren Ingersoll and Andrew Moore, supervising staff at the Chester Teen Center, addressed the Ludlow Rotary Club (LRC) at its recent weekly meeting. The Chester Teen Center is designed to support teens from the local community in a safe, fun, alcohol and drug free environment.The Teen Center is a part of the Black River Area Community Coalition (BRACC) which originated in Ludlow in 2003.
The group's mission states the Chester Teen Center serves youth by creating a safe space in the community for local teens to connect with each other, have fun and be creative, develop leadership skills, and have access to support and mentorship. Activities include basketball, pool, board games, homework, a Valentine's Dance, and a trip to a local ski hill. Teens design and plan many of the activities.
