OLD TIMER'S NIGHT
The Mount Holly Community Historical Museum is pleased to present an Old Timer's Night on Wednesday, August 2nd. The panel discussion will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Hall in Belmont. If you were impacted by the recent storm and flooding and need help head down to the Ludlow MARC located inside the Ludlow Community Center (37 Main St) today, Tuesday 7/25, or Wednesday, 7/26 between 9am and 5pm. Representative from VErmont Emergency Management, FEMA, Red Cross, and other agencies will be onsite to help. Resources available onsite include:
-Meals and water -Emergency Water Test Kit to test your well -Personal Protective Equipment -Assistance in finding flood recovery resources
The Red Cross, along with state and federal partners, will be returning to the Ludlow Community Center which is located at 37 Main Street on Monday (7/24), Tuesday (7/25) and Wednesday (7/26) between 9 AM and 5 PM to provide information, emergency supplies and recovery resources for those impacted by flooding. These services are available to any/all impacted by flooding in Ludlow and surrounding communities.

Hi everyone! Hoping you are all adjusting to our new "normal" and thank you for the support you are offering in our community! We each have a helping role, no matter how big or small- you are appreciated!
The department of libraries and the Smithsonian reached out to Fletcher Memorial requesting that we host a program pertinent to the flooding in our area. Disaster Response Coordinator for the Smithsonian Cultural Rescue Initiative, Katelynn Averyt. and Carolyn Frisa, conservator with Works On Paper in Chester, VT, will be at FML for a hands-on presentation- Preserving Damaged Personal Heirlooms. There are many ways to save and repair items that may seem to be destroyed from flooding! Many of our neighbors are mucking out and tossing- do you have an interest in repairing and preserving? Come and learn the techniques to share with our community!
This program will be held on Thursday, July 27th @ 11AM in the Community Room at Fletcher Memorial Library.
