Welcome to the Weekend!
What are your plans for the weekend?! We're expecting some rain and I think a few flakes of snow here and there next week.
We moved the cows and calves into the barn last week, and they are quite content! Dry bedded pack and delicious hay - what more can you ask for?! Our turkeys are foraging and growing! Please note, we are sold out of Thanksgiving turkeys.
And the weather held out long enough for us to finish painting the farm house! There's a few small sections remaining that need repair before we can paint, so we'll do that next spring.
Our bread bakers will be taking the weekend off. However, I will have some of their bread in the freezer, phew! Ravioli, take and bake pizzas, organic veggies, dairy, cider, saurerkraut and more are awaiting your arrival.

With the exception of service dogs, no dogs allowed at the farm. Please be mindful of farm equipment, grandkids, vehicles and customers when driving in and out of our driveway. Our farm stand is located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly. Open Tuesdays through Sundays from 12:00pm-5:00pm. Closed on Mondays!

Town of Mount Holly - Municipal Planning Grant - Community Input Requested
The Town of Mount Holly applied for and received a Municipal Planning Grant from the State of Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development. The Select Board contracted with Community Roots, LLC, led by Melissa Levy, to identify and understand community concerns related to housing, economic development, and public infrastructure. Our first step to the grant is doing community outreach. A survey has been created to collect data to help steer the grant objectives. Surveys will be collected through November 30th. Your input is essential to this process. In order to show successful community outreach and support we have set a goal for completed surveys and as of today we have reached 50% of our goal. If you have not taken a moment to complete the survey please do so. Answers will be anonymous and remain private. The results will be aggregated, compiled and presented as part of a report in the months to come. Your answers will guide us in maximizing the benefit to the community of our American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds and other grant funding to address community challenges.
Printed copies of the survey will be available at, and can be returned to, the Town Office and the Town Library. We have a number of community members with deep ties volunteering to help guide the project and chipping in to help keep costs down.Jeff Chase is the Municipal Authorizing Official for the Select Board.
