Green Mountain Neighbors is pleased to offer you a FREE presentation on the basics of Estate Planning by local attorney Michelle Kenny of the law firm Kenny & Gatos LP.

Thinking about your estate plan can feel overwhelming, but it is necessary to protect your legacy and provide clarity for the people you love.

Estate planning is far more than just writing a will; it is about ensuring that your hard-earned assets are distributed according to your precise wishes, minimizing unnecessary tax burdens, and sparing your family from stressful legal hurdles during an already emotional time. Without a clear plan, state law will dictate what happens to your property, which can lead to unintended consequences, prolonged probate delays, and confusion for your heirs.

Ms. Kenny will help demystify the process and break down options, including wills, trusts, healthcare directives, and powers of attorney designations.

Please keep in mind that, as an attorney, Ms. Kenny cannot provide you with independent legal advice during the presentation. Please bring your general questions, and if you decide that you would like your own estate plan prepared thereafter, you can contact Ms. Kenny, or she can provide other names of attorneys who can provide this service.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
