Ludlow Rotary Prepares for Upcoming Annual Penny Sale While the annual Penny Sale sponsored by the Ludlow Rotary Club (LRC) may be several months away, members of the club have already begun preparations for this major event. The Penny Sale is the major fund-raising event sponsored by the LRC to support its annual scholarship awards to graduating area high school seniors. The LRC has awarded over a quarter of a million scholarship dollars to graduating seniors. This, the 67th annual Penny Sale sponsored by the LRC, will feature hundreds of gifts donated by area businesses and individuals. As evidenced by the concentrated efforts of LRC Rotarians in the photo, club members are busy contacting area businesses to request donations of gifts or financial awards.
