Proctorsville Ghost Walk
Proctorsville village is home to Vermont's most haunted inn. One house includes a ghost in the deed, while the fire department is periodically visited by "Homer." Learn more about these and other eerie tales at the Proctorsville Ghost Walk.

On November 10 (Sunday), the Cavendish Historical Society will be sponsoring the Proctorsville Ghost Walk. Meet at the Proctorsville War Memorial, which is at the intersection of route 131 and Depot Street in Proctorsville, across the green. Wear comfortable shoes and dress weather appropriate.

This event is free and open to the public. Donations appreciated. For more information please call 802-226-7807 or e-mail margocaulfield@icloud.com

Ludlow Rotarians recently heard from District Rotary Foundation Chair Diane Barclay about the Rotary International (RI) Foundation's work to eradicate polio in the world through vaccinations. Ludlow Roatarians are shown here with their annual checks to support the cause, helping RI raise $50 million to be matched by the Bill Gates Foundation two to one. Kim Lampert, top row center, was presented with her Paul Harris sustaining member pin at the meeting for her support of all of RI's causes.

Welcome to the Weekend

Happy first day of November everyone. Let's get the weekend started!

What about this weather we've had this week?! Temperatures reached 76 degrees here at the farm. The cattle, chickens and turkeys are all enjoying the warmth of the sun and being outside.

Our maple syrup shelves and online store are once again fully stocked with all grades! And that includes our bourbon barrel aged maple syrup. No reason to go without, stop on in (or shop online) and grab what you need.

We will have fresh bread from our friends at 3 Bears Bakery on Saturday. We tend to sell out every weekend, so get here earlier rather than later if you're looking to score some fabulous bread for the weekend.

Did you know we have ground pork?! Add some to your meatball or meatloaf recipes. It also makes a delicious stir-fry! This Spicy Peanut Ground Pork recipe is one of my favorites.

Our produce table includes sweet potatoes, greens, spinach, cabbage, apples, onions, garlic, beets, and carrots.

With the holiday gift giving season right around the corner, stop by the farm stand and check and see what we've got. Handcrafted shadow boxes, canvas prints, lamps, magnets, gift boxes and we even have note cards!

We look forward to seeing you while you're out and about. Our farm stand is located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly. Hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 - 5:00. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted.

Please be mindful of other customers, farm equipment and grandkids as you pull into our driveway. We've got plenty of parking in front of the farm stand.
