Due to the increased spread of Covid in the area, the Museum Board has decided to only do carry out for the dinner on September 4th. However for the convenience of our patrons who wish to eat by the Odd Fellows Hall we will try to put  tables outside (weather permitting), socially distant and with only four settings of silverware per table. We apologize for this last minute change.

Because of this last minute change, we would appreciate it if everyone can spread the word. Not everyone gets the Mount Holly News Flash and we do not wish to disappoint anyone.

The News Around the Farm!

We started the week expecting quite a bit of rain from Hurricane Henri, but thankfully, we only received a little over an inch of rain.  As farmers, we keep a close eye on the weather.  If you're ever wondering what the weather is here at the farm, check out our weather page on our website!
All animals are doing well on the green fields and pastures.  The heat requires a bit of extra attention from us to make sure they have a supply of fresh water throughout the warm afternoons.
The haying season is moving along and Kevin & Owen are in the hayfield every chance they get.  Sometimes working with mother nature can be trying, but they are getting it done!
Our fresh chicken processing is winding down, with only three more weeks for FRESH chicken!  That's right, just 3!  Get 'em fresh while we got 'em fresh.  Our pork is in full supply and we are just as happy as you are!  I mean, chops, ribs, sausage, kielbasa, bacon and more.
The hot weather has made me thankful for our ground beef patties!  Talk about an easy dinner.  The patties are all made - burger night couldn't get any easier my friends.
We continue to welcome fresh produce from our farm partners, as well as honey, dairy, coffee, mustards, salsas, flowers, and handcrafted gifts!
We canned up another drum of maple syrup this week.  We store our maple syrup in 40 gallon stainless steel drums and open these drums when we need to replenish our stock. So, stop on by and get your maple fix!
We look forward to seeing you this weekend.  We are open every day 12:00 - 6:00 and are located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly.

P
lease be cautious when driving in and out of our driveway and be on the lookout for farm equipment, dogs, and  grandchildren!
