It's Finally Friday — And the Farm is Ready for You

Spring has officially arrived at Plew Farm, and things are moving. Our first batch of meat birds arrived last week, the pastures are greening up fast, and our beef cattle are just about ready to trade their barn for open fields. In the meantime, our laying hens are living their best lives in the sunshine — and turning it into the most gorgeous, golden-yolked eggs you've ever cracked.

The farm stand is open, stocked, and waiting. Let's talk about what's in store this weekend.

Mother's Day is Sunday — Make it Special

You've still got time. Here's your game plan:

Start with a stunning mixed flower bouquet from Blume VT — honestly, they're breathtaking. Then swing by for a bag of our pancake mix + a bottle of our maple syrup and treat her to breakfast in bed. (Don't forget the Abracadabra Coffee beans. She deserves a real cup of coffee with that stack.)

Round it out with handmade soaps, local honey, fancy mustard, and delicious jams — the kind of thoughtful extras that say I actually put thought into this.

Baked Goods Alert — Shop Early or Miss Out

Stevens Farm baked goods are back on Saturday, and we cannot stress this enough: they sell out. Every time. Get there early.

Also back this Saturday: fresh-baked bread — farmhouse white, multi-grain, and cinnamon raisin. Something for every table.

Dinner, Sorted

A great selection of beef and pork is in the stand this weekend. Whether you're grilling for Mom or just treating yourself, we've got you covered.

Green Up Day Reminder

Did you pick up trash for Vermont last weekend? Good on you. Don't forget — bring in your Green Up Day coupon and redeem it for a free dozen eggs. You earned them.

Come see us! We're open today through Sunday, 12–5pm. 1966 Healdville Road, Mount Holly, VT

See you soon.

? Got Bees ?

Warmer weather can cause honeybee colonies to grow bigger, swarm, and go looking for a new home. If you see a mass of honeybees hanging in the open from your house, tree or shrub branches, this may be a swarm. They are not aggressive and should not be disturbed or harmed.

Call me as soon as you find them and I will come by to collect & remove them from your property in Mount Holly, no charge. Call Jim at Fenn Farmstead & Gardens in Mount Holly at 781-307-0394.

Come join the MHCA Art Group Wednesday night to paint, draw or just chat about art. We will meet in the community room from 6-8!
