TOWN CEMETERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are looking for a few volunteers to mow or trim in our town cemeteries. Most are small and no longer active, so nice and quiet. Towns are required to provide some maintenance, so they need to be trimmed about 3 times between June and October. The only town cemetery currently with lots available for sale is the Packer Cemetery. The large Mechanicsville Cemetery in Belmont is a private association.
If interested, please contact me with a message at 802-259-2460 or ddevereux@vermontel.net for a site visit.
Mount Holly Town Cemetery Commissioners:
Dennis Devereux
Paul Nevin
Chet Gates, Jr.

Handsome, healthy Cuckoo Maran rooster available, just under a year old. He has beautiful classic cuckoo barring and a unique single green feather on his back.

This guy takes his job seriously — he's chased off two hawks and keeps a constant watch over his flock. He's a great watchdog too, always crowing when someone pulls into the driveway. He's respectful of his ladies, letting them eat first, and does his job well in the breeding department.

He has been vaccinated against Coccidiosis and Marek's Disease.

That said, he's a bit overzealous sometimes and will go after people's feet if he thinks his hens are in distress. With adults, a simple pickup and carry around generally puts him in his place, but he's not a good fit for a family with young children who like to play with and pickup his hens.

He'd make a great addition to a breeding flock or a farm without small children.

Feel free to reach out to ngalley@gmail.com with questions!

Today!

Maple Monday!

Welcome to the start of what looks to be a beautiful week! Temperatures here at the farm will be warm and the sun will be shining. We'll take it!

Hot Maple. Yes, that's right, Hot Maple! This recipe is not only easy, but can be used for so many things! Drizzle it on pizza or grilled meats. Add a kick to your favorite barbecue sauce recipe. Try it as a salad dressing! Use it in, on, and with everything! Spicy, sweet, and a little heat. Keep an eye on the saucepan to make sure the maple syrup doesn't boil over, and do wash your hands after slicing the peppers!

Did you know you can view more recipes on our website?! You certainly can. Appetizers, main dishes, drinks, and desserts. All with a touch or two of maple!

Visit our website and check out our selection, which includes sizes ranging up to a gallon. Bring a taste of Vermont maple into your home. You shop, we'll ship!
