Due to the anticipated snowstorm, the Mount Holly Transfer Station will be CLOSED on Sunday, February 16. The Transfer Station will be open for an extra hour on Saturday, February 15, from 8 am to 3 pm.

Hello Friday, Happy Valentine's Day and welcome to the weekend. Another snowy week here at the farm with yet another snowstorm expected this weekend!

The cows and calves are cozy and warm inside the big red barn. They hardly notice the winter weather! And our laying hens keep on laying the best farm fresh eggs around.

Our farm stand will be open for the weekend, are you ready to shop?! In the baked department, we have Milicent's sour dough English muffins. The best way to start your morning. Add a fried egg, some bacon, cheese and you've got yourself a delicious breakfast sandwich! Arriving on Saturday will be fresh bread from 3 Bears Bakery and baked treats from Mountain Robin.

Shop our farm stand for your Valentine's Day treats! Handmade soap, beautiful canvas prints, yummy maple candy .. just to name a few. Make your Valentine's meal special with a steak (NY Strip, Ribeye, or Sirloin). Don't forget to pick up a pint of Wilcox ice cream for dessert!

Let's talk about ham steaks, shall we?! One of the easiest cuts to prepare. Our smoked ham steaks can be pan seared or grilled. We like to drizzle a bit of maple syrup to ours! And if you have left overs, add them to quiche or your breakfast eggs.

Our farm stand is open Thursdays through Sundays from 12:00-5:00. Located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly. Please be mindful of customers, grandkids, and snow banks as you pull in or out of our driveway. Plenty of parking in front of the farm stand. We look forward to seeing you.

VISIT OUR WEBSITE FOR SHOPPING & RECIPES

We add a new recipe to our website every week. Give it a look and give them a try! We've got a little bit of everything. Desserts, breakfasts, lunch and dinner ideas.

We love sharing our maple syrup with you and your family. Visit our website and start your shopping!. All grades and sizes available. You shop, we'll ship!

FOLA Honors Mark Huntley With

Musical Event Sat., Feb 22 in Ludlow

FOLA will be offering a live musical special event featuring two musical groups on Saturday, Feb. 22 in the Heald Auditorium at Ludlow's Town Hall at 7 PM highlighting the Gypsy Reel and Rick Redington and the LUV.

The event will also be in tribute to the life and legacy of Mark Huntley who brought so much music and joy to us. Among the many features of Mark's life were his contributions to local groups and service to the community including as a Director of FOLA . Not the least of these was his joy in bringing music to everyone, whether it be in his band or that of other area musicians.

Rick Redington & Tuff Luv will combine forces with Gypsy Reel for a "Night Of Rockin' World Music, guaranteed to get "You Up Out Of Your Seat & On Your Feet".

Rick & his Band have just released a new album called "Supermoon" featuring high energy tracks oozing with "Bass, Drums & Percussive Rhythmic Goodness Lead by Sweet Licks, Blazing Riffs with Freight Train Vocals".

Gypsy Reel Is Like a Celtic Rollercoaster Ride Complete with Musical Twists & Turns That'll Leave You Brimming with Sonic Joy.

This great event is free – but donations greatly appreciated to underwrite the costs of the event. And, for those so inclined, make sure you're wearing your "dancing shoes".

Two Historic Vermont Acts get together for "One Nite of Good Vibrations".

Doors will open at 6:30 PM. For more info, 802-228-3238.
