Details:

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 8 inches.

* WHERE...Rutland and Windsor Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will

likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.

Hello Friday and welcome to the start of the weekend. Snow is the word of the day here at the farm. We've had snow every day this week, with more in the forecast for the weekend!

With the snowy forecast comes comfort meals. I'm thinking a big pot of chili should do the trick. We use a mix of our ground beef and pork sausage as a base for our chili, what about you? We've got sweet and hot Italian sausage so you can keep it low key, or kick it up a notch!

Are you ready for Super Bowl Sunday? Got the necessary treats?! Grab a bag or two of our maple almonds to snack on while watching the game. Need cheese? We've got that in the farm stand as well! And let's not forget pizza!! We are fully stocked with Goodman's take-and-bake pizzas, just in time for the snow storm and the Super Bowl!

Our meat selection this week includes steaks, ground beef and pre-made patties, beef shanks, liver, roasts, pork chops, sausage, ribs, bacon, shoulder roasts and chicken. I'm sure we can help you with your dinner plans

Our farm stand is open Thursdays through Sundays from 12:00-5:00. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Plenty of parking in front of the farm stand. Please be mindful of snowbanks, grandkids and other customers as you pull into and out of the driveway. We look forward to having you shop with us!
