Hello Supporters of Live Music!
Our summer concert series may be in the rear view mirror, but we have more in store right here in Shrewsbury. Please mark your calendar for Sunday, Oct 27 at 4 pm, inside at the Shrewsbury Meeting House and come out and support those who need it.
Our dear friend and fellow musician, Silas Hamilton, (who has graced our Shrewsbury stage many times) had a week's worth of gigs in N.C. cancelled due to Hurricane Helene's effect on the Asheville, NC area.
So what does a musician do when their livelihood is interrupted? They think of others.
Silas remembered that our dear friend Tom Mitchell, former Shrewsbury resident and fellow Serenaders bandmate, would ALWAYS prompt the rest of us to perform for a fundraiser concert for those who are going through major life interruptions and devastation of homeland. Whether it was in Haiti, or El Salvador or in the U.S., Tom would rally the musical troops and we'd do a concert.
Now is no different. So, in the spirit of Tom Mitchell, here we go! And we do hope you'll support the effort with your positive presence, your dollars, and your own spirit of taking care of those who have less than you.
Please join us. Free will donation.
All monies go to support theleaf.org and bounty and soul.org, organizations at work to provide relief in the western North Carolina region.

Welcome to the Weekend

Happy Friday folks and let's get this weekend started!

We've had such a stretch of great weather here at the farm. Sunshine and warm temps during the day, with cooler temps in the evening. And we were able to snap a picture of the comet over the farm.

We have a few pumpkins available at the farm stand, and have been marked down in price. All pumpkins are now $9.00. Stop by this weekend and get one.

Our farm stand is full of all sorts of goodies and we'd love for you to stop and shop with us this weekend. Fresh bread and baked goods arrive on Saturday. Millicent's sourdough English muffins arrived yesterday, so get 'em while we got 'em!

Produce this weekend includes sweet potatoes, greens, spinach, cabbage, apples, onions, garlic, beets, and carrots.

We've got sausage! Breakfast sausage, sweet Italian sausage, hot Italian sausage, chorizo, and kielbasa! Perfect for your weekend meals.

Take a look in our fridge while you're at the farm stand. Organic yogurt (plain & maple), cheese (Crowley & Maplebrook), butter (Ploughgate), and more!

On our shelves you'll find honey, mustards, jams, hot sauce, soaps, dishcloths, canvas prints, note cards, postcards and vinegar. A little bit of everything and then some!

We look forward to seeing you while you're out and about. Our farm stand is located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly. Hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 - 5:00. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted.

Please be mindful of other customers, farm equipment and grandkids as you pull into our driveway. We've got plenty of parking in front of the farm stand.
