On the anniversary of the 2023 flooding disaster in Okemo Valley and the State of Vermont, the owners of the Black River Mobile Court used a ribbon-cutting ceremony to recognize and celebrate the support they received in restoring homes and the park that had been impacted. The image highlights the Okemo Valley Disaster Fund partners (Okemo Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce, Town of Ludlow, Ludlow Area Rotary, and Crown Point Board of Realtors) who came together to aid businesses and community members throughout the Okemo Valley Region.

The evening begins with a potluck meal and members are asked to bring a salad or dessert to share, and their own place setting. Dues can be paid, and many mammoth themed items will be available to purchase. The short business meeting begins at 7 p.m. The speaker Roger Albee, the former Commissioner of Agriculture, will follow talking about the history of agriculture in Vermont. The members of Colfax lodge #21 appreciate the community support for our July 4th parade and barbecue. We are especially grateful to the Kelley family and their crew for cooking up a great barbecue, the Jeb Porter and Friends band, and to Cota and Cota for providing the grill. Our member Don Eatmon always comes through setting up a great parade. Without the ongoing support for the barbecue and community suppers we could not keep the Odd Fellows Hall open and available. | | |
