Today's Forecast: Mostly sunny, with a high near 28. Wind chill values as low as -7. West wind 7 to 17 mph.

WINTER STORM WARNING

* WHAT...Heavy wet snow and mixed precipitation expected. Total
snow accumulations of 9 to 16 inches and ice accumulations of up
to one tenth of an inch.

* WHERE...Orange, Western Rutland, Eastern Rutland, Western
Windsor and Eastern Windsor Counties.

* WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to 2 AM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Weight
of the snow on tree limbs may cause numerous power outages.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heavy snow will gradually change to a
wintry mix and possibly even plain rain from south to north
during the day on Saturday. Precipitation may change back to
heavy snow before ending.

Wallingford Memorial Rotary Club, 96 North Main Street, Wallingford, will host a lasagna dinner on Saturday, April 6 from 5:00 to 6:30 PM.
Dinner will include meat or vegetarian lasagna, tossed salad, bread and
dessert. The cost is $15.00 per person, $8.00 for children under 8
years old.

Orders may be placed and pre-paid online starting March 15 on the Wallingford Rotary website, https://wallingfordvtrotary.com/ or by calling 802-259-3490 to place your order and paying at the door. You may specify either dine-in or take-out. Orders will be accepted from March 15 to April 3.
