Thank you Little Yellow House Studio presents "Out of Control" Album Release Weekend   Andover, VT/October 26, 2021 - Little Yellow House Studio® Events presents Out of Control, a virtual album release weekend featuring singer/songwriter Eva Rainforth on Saturday and Sunday Nov 20th and 21st at 4pm EST. Hosted by Broadway veteran and Andover resident Susan Haefner, Eva will perform songs from her new album Out of Control, as well as other favorite songs from her repertoire.    Currently living in Pittsburgh PA, singer/songwriter Eva Rainforth has performed with Pittsburgh Symphony, River City Brass Band, Pittsburgh Concert Chorale, The Mendelssohn Choir, and currently sings with The Pittsburgh Opera Chorus. Originally from Sayville, Long Island, Eva started out as a composition major at Fredonia State University and continues to write many styles of music. "But, as you know, our world drastically changed in 2020, and the much needed slow down and time to focus presented itself. Within this craziness, I am grateful. It is definitely a 'Covid 19 baby.' By making healthy lifestyle changes, it is possible to prevent type 2 diabetes and even reverse prediabetes.   According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), more than one in three U.S. adults have prediabetes, but the majority of people don't know they have it! The Rutland Community Health Needs Assessment 2021, released in May 2021, notes, "our rates for cardiovascular disease, cancer and diabetes are all above the state rate (Vermont Department of Health, 2018)." Diabetes is one of the four illnesses identified in the state of Vermont's 3-4-50 initiative that spotlights the overwhelming impact of chronic disease in the state. "Three behaviors (no physical activity, poor diet, tobacco use) lead to 4 diseases (cancer, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, lung disease) and result in 50% of deaths in Vermont." Our Certified Diabetes Educators offer self-management training and support at several convenient locations for our patients. Archived Newsflash emails can be read at: https://mthollynewsflash.blogspot.com A friend came to visit and fell in love with the place.  She is looking for an affordable rental.  If you know of one, please contact me.  Thank you.  Connor@ohio.edu dedicated to providing a local alternative to commercially produced factory food   A Moment to Reflect 20 months ago our friend Kara from Evening Song Farm dropped me an email asking if we'd like to add their organic spinach to our farm stand offerings.  Covid had shut down the local farmers markets and played havoc with retail food shopping.  Until this point, we sold only items we produced at our farm stand.  (Meat, eggs, and maple).  So, we took a chance and said yes, let's try adding spinach.  Well, that was that!  Customers were buying the spinach faster than I could order it!  And here we are 20 months later and we are grateful for offering goodies from over 20 other farm partners!  A big thank you to our customers, for without you, we wouldn't be here!  And a quick side note - last weekend we welcomed our 4,000th farm stand customer for this year!! Song selections include Blue Skies, It Might as Well be Spring, and It's Only a Paper Moon, as well as selections from Lisa's recent albums.   "We are so excited to be performing live after producing two virtual concerts for the local community in 2020." says Haefner. "We hope the audience will sit back, relax, enjoy, and even hum along."   Susan Haefner is a professional actor, director, teacher and Broadway veteran, and is now proud to call Vermont home.   She has appeared in over 25 productions at Weston Playhouse, as well as in many plays at Northern Stage in White River Junction and Shaker Bridge Theatre in Enfield , NH. Recently Susan appeared as Rosemary in Tenderly: The Rosemary Clooney Musical at Music Theatre of Connecticut. This was Susan's fifth time in the role, which she originated at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.   Susan's Broadway credits include State Fair, Thoroughly Modern Millie and 42nd Street. Tours include Billy Elliot (national tour and Toronto) and Damn Yankees with Jerry Lewis (national tour and London's West End). Susan has also appeared regionally at Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, Asolo Repertory Theatre, New London Barn Playhouse, Playhouse on Park, Barter Theatre, Weston Playhouse and Florida Studio Theatre. She received her MFA from Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training.   Lisa Brigantino is an award-winning singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, music director and accompanist with a Master of Music in music composition and theory from SUNY Fredonia.  Her original songs span numerous genres and she also composes for TV, film, advertising, theater and more.  Lisa has performed her original music at a variety of venues and notable festivals in the US. She has released three full length albums of original music, her latest being the critically-acclaimed album I'll Waltz Before I Go, an eclectic collection of her songs ranging from Folk to Rock, Old-Time, Americana and more.   Lisa was an original member of Lez Zeppelin, the world's first all-girl Led Zeppelin tribute band and toured internationally with the band for a number of years playing bass, mandolin and keyboards at A list venues and festivals around the world.  She left the band in 2009 to focus on her original music. www.lisabrigantino.com   This event is open to everyone and is free.  Donations are appreciated.  Per the town policy, all unvaccinated persons must wear a mask; the policy further recommends that vaccinated persons should wear a mask for safety reasons.   -30-
