I am sending pictures of what the Selectboard gave to me for retiring. Resolution, clock with plaque and the flowers. I would also like to thank everyone in town for all their well wishes, cards, candy and flowers!! I will miss being  in the Town Office, but moving on to the next phrase of my life!

Happenings Around the Farm

WEATHER:  We've had a week of beautiful spring-like weather here at the farm.  Warm, sunny days and cool nights.  Perfect sugarin' weather!
ANIMALS:  Twelve calves born so far this year, with 2 more coming soon.  Young pigs arrived at the farm last week.  Our laying hens are enjoying the sunshine that pours through their houses every day and are providing us with amazing farm fresh eggs.
FARM STAND:  We've got BOTH doors open at the farm stand.  Our freezers are stocked with pork (chops, sausage roasts), beef (ground, steak, briskets), chicken (whole), pizzas (take & bake) and gelato!  Don't forget we have fresh croissants and fresh bread on Satrudays.
RECIPES:  I try to post a new recipe or meal idea every week on our instagram and facebook pages.  However, some nights I draw a blank!  This week I simply asked what everyone else was serving... and I LOVED hearing all of your inspiring meal creations.  Click on the pots and pan image below to read!

We are looking for an older travel trailer to use here on the farm for temporary housing. Doesn't need to be perfect.  Let us know what you have.

Thank you

Community Health Case Managers Receive Certification

Primary Care and Pediatric Patient Services Include Case Management at Community Health

RUTLAND - Certified case managers are clinical experts who keep patients on track and are aware of the routine maintenance and self-care needed to keep an individual patient healthy. "In today's health care environment, patients/clients need an advocate on their side," said said Claudia Courcelle, RN, BSN, MSA, Community Health's Clinical Director, a certified case manager herself. "A board certified case manager is the right professional to act in an individual's best interest in a complex and fragmented health care system to provide optimum value and desirable outcomes for all involved."

Five case managers at Community Health have earned the Certified Case Manager (CCM®) credential from the Commission for Case Manager Certification.

"Case managers with this credential have the expertise, knowledge, and professional experience to provide the right services to patients across the continuum of care, including those with serious or complex medical conditions, and/or catastrophic injuries and illnesses," Courcelle said.
The CCM® credential means that these case managers are committed to uphold the highest professional and ethical standards. "To maintain certification, case managers must comply with the Code of Professional Conduct for Case Managers, which is enforced by the CCMC," Courcelle said.

Community Health is proud to acknowledge the hard work and dedication these professionals have achieved to become a Certified Case Manager (CCM®):

Heather Smith, RN, BS – Community Health Brandon

Mary Trono, RN, BSN – Community Health Rutland

Maria Bilinski, RN, AD – Community Health Rutland

Joann Blair, RN, AD – Community Health Pediatrics

Claudia Courcelle, RN, BSN, MSA – Community Health Administration
