Sue Covalla dedicated to providing a local alternative to commercially produced factory food Happenings Around the Farm WEATHER:  We've had a week of beautiful spring-like weather here at the farm.  Warm, sunny days and cool nights.  Perfect sugarin' weather! ANIMALS:  Twelve calves born so far this year, with 2 more coming soon.  Young pigs arrived at the farm last week.  Our laying hens are enjoying the sunshine that pours through their houses every day and are providing us with amazing farm fresh eggs. FARM STAND:  We've got BOTH doors open at the farm stand.  Our freezers are stocked with pork (chops, sausage roasts), beef (ground, steak, briskets), chicken (whole), pizzas (take & bake) and gelato!  Don't forget we have fresh croissants and fresh bread on Satrudays. RECIPES:  I try to post a new recipe or meal idea every week on our instagram and facebook pages.  However, some nights I draw a blank!  This week I simply asked what everyone else was serving... and I LOVED hearing all of your inspiring meal creations.  Click on the pots and pan image below to read!   The Farm Stand Our farm stand is open Tuesdays through Sundays from 12-5 (closed on Mondays). Please wear your mask when shopping inside our farm stand and one person and/or family inside at a time.
