At the farm stand ...
Well, we did get a little more snow since last week, but the sun and warmer temps have been out more, so perhaps the snowbanks will slowly shrink! We've got a few new things in the farm stand and we are so excited! We now carry Goodman's American Pie Take & Bake Frozen Pizzas!! How cool is that!?! With 4 flavors to choose from, we're sure there is something for everyone in your family. Next we are happy to let you know that our jowl bacon and maple sugar cured ham hocks are back in stock! Jowl bacon is great for pasta carbonara, and we love our hocks when making split pea soup. And yesterday we filled our beef freezer with STEAKS! Yup, that's right, our steaks are back in stock. We've got sirloin, NY strips, ribeyes and more. Stop on by and let us know what you're looking for. Our farm stand is open Tuesdays through Sundays from 12-5 (closed on Mondays). We ask that you wear your mask when shopping inside our farm stand and one person and/or family inside at a time.
If you are quarantining or limiting your interactions with folks and need some goodies from our farm stand, drop us an email and we'll get your order ready for contactless curbside pick up. Our complete list can be found here.
2021 CSA MEMBERSHIP IS NOW OPEN!
Our CSA is for members who pre-pay for a seasonal supply of products. Having the share money early in our season, helps us to cover the cost of feed, purchase of livestock, maintenance, etc. The benefits of a our CSA membership include a discount, flexibility in purchasing and knowing where your food comes from. We offer a variety of products for purchase throughout the year, and with that in mind, we offer a free choice CSA farm share, instead of weekly box pickups. This will allow you to shop and choose exactly what you'd like, when you'd like! Complete details and membership form can be found here. Membership opens today and will end March 30th or when all available shares are sold.
FRESH RAVIOLI !
We have quite a selection of Vermont Fresh raviioli and pasta here at the farm stand. Dinner the other night for us was this ravioli with some of our hot italian sausage mixed with sauce.
Talk about a quick AND delicious dinner! Added a few slices of 3 Bears Bakery bread and our meal was complete. So many dinner options with this pasta. Stop on by and grab a box!

Pride's evolving SmART Art Protocols means our actors are being filmed individually and in family groups only ~ for this (our THIRD) streaming production mid Pandemic!
"A novel virus calls for a novel answer. If the show is to go on, we must be willing to forge a new path." says Director, Sarah McGee. "Creating art in the challenging time of a global pandemic has required the support of both our artists and our community allies. This production is a true constellation of capability, community event and showcases the talents of Pride's artists (ages 7-22), the Video skills of Castleton University Video student, Luke McGee, and many others."
